Gumball Shaker Valentine

Supplies:

Measurements:

·       Mango Melody Cardstock – 4 ¼ x 11, scored at 5 ½, 4 1/8 x 5 3/8

·       Basic White – 4 x 5 ¼, large scrap for stamping and die cutting

·       Twine: 7 inches

Instructions: 

1.     Stamp sentiment on the basic white cardstock scrap with real read ink, using one of the sentiment dies and run thru the cut & emboss machine.

2.    Stamp all the pieces of the gumball machine on basic white cardstock using black ink except for the “turner” stamp on real red, match up all stamped pieces and cut out with coordinating dies. You need 3 sets of the real red hearts and 3 sets of flirty flamingo gumballs.

3.    You can color with blends either before or after you cut them out.

4.    On the 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 piece of mango melody using the dome die cut out the area of the dome almost in the middle of the cardstock.

5.    Put cut of piece of mango melody in the embossing folder and run thru the cut and emboss machine.

6.    Remove front piece of backing on the dome and adhere thru the die cut piece of mango melody.

7.    Adhere some of the red hearts and flamingo gumballs to the white “dome” back. Put the rest of the hearts and gumballs face down in the dome. Take off the other backer to adhesive and put the white piece centered.

8.    Using multipurpose glue adhere the mango melody piece to the mango melody card base.

9.    Put a brad thru the hole of the turner and the bottom of the machine and then use dimensionals to adhere under the dome. Glue all other pieces of the gumball machine to the front of the card.

10. Using dimensionals adhere the sentiment under the gumball machine.

11. Glue heart coming out of the tray and the heart and gumball.

12. Tie little bow and adhere as shown.

13. Stamp other sentiment and hearts on the white inside piece and adhere to the inside of the card.

Happy Valentine's Slim Line Card

 


So I have a slim line card Valentine's card for you today. I changed it up a tad by using a 3D embossing folder. I think I like it better than the original. I hope you enjoy!

Supplies:

·       Stamp Sets: Sweet Conversations Bundle (157624); Happy & Heartfelt (158005)

·       Card Stock and Paper: Basic White (159276); Blushing Bride (131198); Sweet Talk DSP (157616)

·       Stamp Pads: Real Red Ink (147084); Highland Heather (147103); Granny Apple Green (147095); Blushing Bride (147100); So Saffron (147109); Pool Party (147107)

·       Tools: Paper Trimmer (152392); Paper Snips Scissors (103579); Stampin Cut & Emboss machine (149653); Simply Scored Scoring Tool (122334); Bone folder (102300)

·       Miscellaneous: Floral Gallery Dies (154316); Multipurpose Glue (110755); Stampin Dimensionals (104430); From My Heart Faceted Gems (151154)

Measurements:

·       Blushing Bride Cardstock – 7 x 8 ½ scored @ 3 ½ on the 7-inch side, 1 ¾ x 6

·       Basic White – 3 ¼ x 8 ¼ , small scrap for sentiment and stamping

·       DSP – 1 ½ x 5

Instructions: 

1.    Stamp sentiment on the basic white cardstock scrap with real red ink, using the larger sentiment die in the Floral Gallery dies and run thru the cut & emboss machine.

2.    Put the X O on one block and using the blushing bride ink stamp a background over the front of the card base. Make sure to open the card base and mask off the back of the card so you don’t get ink that.

3.    Glue the DSP to the other piece of blushing bride (embossed if desired) put dimensionals on back and adhere to the front of the card as shown.

4.    Stamp 5 hearts in each of the colors except red. Run thru the cut & emboss machine with the coordinating die.

5.    Using Multipurpose glue adhere the hearts over the dsp matching up colors as much as possible.  

6.    Glue sentiment under the hearts as shown.

7.    Scatter gems as desired.

8.    Stamp inside sentiment on the basic white inside piece. Adhere to inside of card.

·       Real Red Cardstock – 4 ¼ x 11, scored at 5 ½

·       Basic White – 4 x 5 ¼, small scrap for sentiment

·       Ribbon: 12 inches

 

Instructions:

 

1.    Stamp sentiment on the basic white cardstock scrap with real read ink, using the smallest sentiment die and run thru the cut & emboss machine.

2.    Put the red cardstock in the embossing folder with the die in it, make sure you have it going in the right direction to cut the heart in the middle of the front panel.

3.    Using the wink of stella pen “paint” some of the flowers on the front panel including the heart.

4.    Adhere the basic white piece to the inside of the card, making sure there is an even border on all 4 sides.

5.    Using Multipurpose glue adhere the heart to the inside of the card thru the cut opening on the front of the card.

6.    Tie the white bow around the heart opening on the right side of the card front.

7.    Using mini dimensionals adhere the sentiment to the heart on the inside of the card.

8.    Adhere the matte dots as shown on the heart.

Valentine's Treat Holder 2022

Measurements:

DSP - Scant 3 x 8 1/2

Real Red & Highland Heather Cardstock - scraps for punches

Basic White - small scrap for sentiment

Ribbon - 16 inches

Instructions:

1. Stamp sentiment on the basic white cardstock with real red ink, using the larger sentiment die run thru the cut and emboss machine. Put red rhinestones on either side of the sentiment. 

2. Using Simply Scored score the DSP at 1, 5 1/2 & 7 1/2, burnish folds with bone folder. 

3. Cut down gusseted bag to 6 inches, run tear & tape along the very edge of the seam at the bottom of the bag. Remove the liner and fold over just the seam. 

4. Open bag and "flatten" the bottom, slip the DSP in bag, the top inch will fold over the top of the bag. 

5. Punch scallop heart in highland heather, punch other heart in real red. Adhere both hearts together, using dimensionals adhere sentiment to the front of the hearts. 

6. Fill bag with candy and fold dsp over the front of the bag and tie a bow with red ribbon. 

7. Using tear & tape adhere heart medallion to the front of the bag.

Measurements:

·       Basic White – 5 ½ x 8 ½ , scored at 4 ¼ and burnish with bone folder, scrap for sentiment, white circle, and ladybug.

·       Basic Black – 3 7/8 x 5 1/8, scrap for scallop circle

·       DSP – 3 ¾ x 5

·       Ribbon: 6 1/2 inches

 

Instructions:

 

1.    Stamp the sentiment and cut apart with snips.

2.    Stamp ladybug body with black ink and wings with red and black and punch out. Glue together.

3.    Cut white circle with the circle that is just a little bigger than ladybug, cut black scallop with next largest die, running both thru the cut & emboss machine. Glue together.

4.    Glue DSP and black piece together, wrap the white ribbon around and secure with scotch tape. Adhere to the card base using black dimensionals.

5.    Layer ladybug on the circles with glue. Adhere the medallion to the card base as shown with black dimensionals. Make sure dimensionals are straddling the ribbon and not on the ribbon.

6.    Glue sentiment strips to card and put red rhinestones on the ladybug antennae.
