Hello!!
I have a new project for you today. Join me in the new adventure of this thing called a blog. I really have no idea what I am going so please be patient.
I really wanted to create a candy corn card so I went looking through my dies and found the Stitched Triangles, perfect! Now, I know I have the I have the colors reversed for the candy corn but I liked it better for some reason.
Thank you for being here, Lisa
Here are the measurements and instructions:
·
Pumpkin Pie: 4 1/4” x 11, 2 1/2” x 4 1/2”
·
Mango Melody: 2 1/2” x 3 1/2”
·
Basic White: 2” x 2 1/2”
·
Cute Halloween DSP: 2” x 4 1/4”
· Black Glittered Organdy
Ribbon: 10”
1. Layer Pumpkin Pie, Mango
Melody and Basic White together using Multipurpose glue. Using the tallest
triangle from the stitched triangles and run piece thru the Stampin’ Cut &
Emboss Machine, you will have to go back and forth a few times to get thru all
the layers.
2. Stamp the trick or treat
using Memento ink in the center of the “candy corn”.
3. Using
the Simply Scored, score the 4 ¼ x 11 piece of pumpkin pie at 5 1/2. Fold and burnish
with your bone folder.
4. Using the VersaMark, stamp
the candy corn stamp on the front of the card.
5. Using multipurpose glue
adhere the Cute Halloween DSP to the bottom of the front of the card. Wrap
Black Glittered Organdy ribbon around the card and tie in a knot.
6. Adhere the “candy corn”
using Stampin’ Dimensionals straddling the ribbon as shown.
7. Scatter the sequins on the
front of the card, adhering with multipurpose glue.
