Sparkling Snowflakes

 


Sparkling Snowflakes

Celebrate 2024 with this stunning card! 

Supplies:

·       Stamp Set: Sparkling Snowflakes (162158); Wanted to Say (161594)

·       Card Stock and Paper: Basic Black (121045); Vellum Cardstock (101856); Silver & Gold Adhesive Backed Glimmer Paper (162288)

·       Stamp Pads: VersaMark (102283)

·       Tools: Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine (149653); Simply Scored (122334); Bone Folder (102300); Heat Tool (129053); Embossing Additions Tool kit (159971)

·       Miscellaneous: Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755); Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems (161288); Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush (141897); Stampin Emboss Powders Basics (155554); Metallics (155555)

 

Measurements:

 

·       Basic Black – 4 ¼ x 5 ½, 4 ¼ x 11

·       Scrap of Vellum for under sentiment

·       Scrap of Silver Glimmer for sentiment

 

Instructions:

 

1.    Score the card base at 5 ½ on the long side and fold, burnish with bone folder.

2.    Rub the quarter sheet of black cardstock with the embossing buddy.

3.    Stamp 3 or 4 snowflakes in VersaMark and sprinkle with white embossing powder and heat until smooth. Stamp another 3 or 4 snowflakes with Versa Mark and then sprinkle with silver embossing powder and heat until smooth.

4.    Take the Wink of Stella and squeeze some on a smooth surface pick up with the brush end and then tap on your finger or the cap over the snowflakes to make it shimmery.

5.    Die cut the back of the celebrate with the Vellum.

6.    Die cut the Celebrate with the Silver adhesive backed glimmer paper.

7.    Attach the back and the sentiment together, using small dots of liquid glue adhere to the front of the snowflake panel.

8.    Attach the panel to the card front.

9.    Scatter 5 sparkle gems as desired.

Supplies:

·       Stamp Sets: Open Horse Open Sleigh bundle (162130)

·       Card Stock and Paper: Basic White Cardstock (159276); Misty Moonlight (153081)

·       Stamp Pads: Memento Ink (132283)

·       Tools: Double Oval

·       Miscellaneous: Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Stampin’ SEAL Adhesive (152813); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755) 

Measurements:

·       Misty Moonlight – 5 ½ x 8 ½, 3 ¾ x 5, scrap for scallop oval

·       Basic White – 4 x 5 ¼ for inside, scrap for sentiment

·       DSP – 4 x 5 ¼, 3 ½ x 4 ½

Instructions:

1.    Score the card base at 4 ¼” on the long side and fold, burnish with bone folder.

2.    Adhere the larger piece of DSP to the front of the card.

3.    With the smaller piece of DSP put in trimmer and cut at 1 ½, then again at 1 ½. You will then have 3 - 1 ½ strips of DSP. Adhere those to the other Misty Moonlight cardstock, leaving an even border around each piece. Adhere that to the card front.

4.    Stamp Joyful on the scrap of basic white and then punch out with the smaller oval.

5.    Punch out with Misty Moonlight the scallop oval and adhere them together.

6.    Attach to the front of the card with dimensionals.

7.    Adhere the larger piece of basic white cardstock to the inside of the card.

8.    Embellish the card with the adhesive backed snowflakes.

Legendary Ride Birthday Card

Supplies:

 

·       Stamp Sets: Ready to Ride Suite Collection (160768)

·       Card Stock and Paper: Very Vanilla (101650); Pumpkin Pie (105117); Basic Gary (121044); Basic Black (121045); Silver Foil Specialty Pack (156457)

·       Stamp Pads: Basic Gray (149165)

·       Tools: Paper Snips (1035  79); Paper Trimmer (152392); Bone Folder (102300); Simply Scored (122334); Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653)

·       Miscellaneous: Multipurpose liquid glue (110755); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Black Stampin’ Dimensionals (150893)

Measurements:

·       Pumpkin Pie – 4 ¼ x 5 ½, scraps for die cutting

·       Basic Gray – 5 ¼ x 8 scored at 4 on the long side, scraps for die cutting

·       Very Vanilla – 3 ¾ x 5, scrap for sentiment

·       Silver Foil – scrap for die cutting

·       DSP – one pattern 3 ¾ x 3 ¾, another pattern 1 1/8 x 4

 

Instructions:

 

1.    Fold and burnish the Basic Gray cardstock.

2.    Put the DSP square on the diagonal in the track of the trimmer and score from tip to tip, fold on the diagonal burnish the fold.

3.    Emboss the front of the card with the Metal Plate 3D embossing folder.

4.    Glue the diagonal DSP to the back of the card. Just the one back, the other will fold over the front of the card.

5.    Adhere the card to the Pumpkin Pie base.

6.    Adhere the smaller piece of DSP to the card front about a ¼ inch from the bottom.

7.    Die cut all the pieces of the motorcycle and put it together using multi-purpose glue.

Black – motorcycle base and tires

Basic Gray – engine

Silver foil – chrome bike and wheels

Pumpkin Pie – seat, wheel wells and fire.

8.    Put black dimensionals on just the back tires of the bike. Put at an angle over the “tracks”. This will hold the front flap down.

9.    Stamp the sentiment and cut apart and adhere with dimensionals to the front top of the card find of wonky.

10. Stamp the inside sentiment and adhere to the inside of the card.

11. Put an adhesive back stud on the sentiment strip of Legendary.

Scary Silhouettes Lantern



Supplies:

·       Stamp Pads: Memento (132708)

·       Tools: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653); Stampin Trimmer (152392); Simply Scored (122334); Paper Snips (103579); Bone Folder (102399)

·       Miscellaneous: Multipurpose glue (110755); Wink of Stella (141897); Glitter Washi Tape (159973)

 

Measurements:

 

·       Basic Black: 4 ¼ x 11 scored at 2 ¾, 5 ½, & 8 ¼

o   1 x 4 ¼ scored at ½ on the 1-inch side

o   Scraps for die cutting

·       Crushed Curry:

·       Vellum:

·       Celebrate Everything DSP:  

 

Instructions:

 

1.    Run the black base thru the cut and emboss machine with the window die, put the dies more towards the bottom. You will have to do this 2x in the middle 2 sections.

2.    Cut the house die, cat die and the six bats with black cardstock.

3.    Lay out the base flat and run 3 rows of washi across the top leaving about 1/8” between them.

4.    Stamp the sentiment on the basic white cardstock, adhere this to one of the Crushed Curry layers.

5.    Adhere the vellum to the inside of the lantern over the windows.

6.    Tuck and adhere the house and cat to the front. Adhere bats and moon as shown. Add some wink of stella to the moons.

7.    Fold the one inch black in half put glue on one side and adhere to the the edge of the card, put glue on the other half of the black strip and fold the base flat and attach the back together. You now have a lantern.

8.    Adhere the dsp and crushed curry layers and adhere to the one side of the back of the lantern. Put the sentiment layers on the other side in back. You can now put a faux candle in the middle.

Daffodil Daydreams Cadbury Egg Holder

Measurements:

 

·       Pool Party –  2 x 11, 3 ½ x 3 ½

·       Calypso Coral, Pale Papaya, Pear Pizzazz – scraps for die cutting

·       Basic White – scrap for sentiment

·       DSP – 1 ¾ x 3 ½

·       Ribbon – 5 ½ inches

 

Instructions:

 

1.    Using the Tag Topper punch each end of the 2 x 11 pool party, then score on each end at 6 7/16. Burnish each score with bone folder.

2.    Score the 3 ½ x 3 ½ square at ¾ on all sides. Cut up the to score line on 2 sides opposite each other, taking a little sliver out of the corners.

3.    Using the smallest circle center on the square and run thru die cutting machine. Fold corners in and put glue on each side. Bring sides with glue up to make a box. Put glue on 2 opposite sides of the box and put in between the front and back of the holder.

4.    Die cut all the pieces of the daffodil, stem and leave and build the flower as picture shows. I took the blending brush and calypso coral ink and blending on the pale papaya cardstock to give a little extra color.

5.    Adhere the flower to the DSP and adhere that to the front of the holder.

6.    Stamp sentiment with black ink and cut out with the smallest die shape in the dies.

7.    Using dimensional adhere over flower, adhere butterflies as shown.

8.    Put pool party ribbon thru both holes in the topper and then tie a bow with white twine.

9.    Put Cadbury Egg in the hole.
